The lip flip procedure makes your lips appear fuller without actually adding any volume to them. This safe treatment relaxes the muscles around the lip, causing it to flip outwards. The result is a plumper lip. BOTOX®, Xeomin, Jeveau, Dysport
Bunny lines are the wrinkles that appear when the nose is scrunched up. During youth, these lines tend to disappear and become gradually more pronounced as people age. This is because skin loses collagen and elasticity, making it harder for facial muscles to bounce back after any facial expressions. By adding a few units of Botox to this area it can minimize the appereance of these lines. This procedure can also be done to fine lines that sprruound the lips. BOTOX®, Xeomin, Jeveau, Dysport
The "Orange Peel" chin can be treated with neuromodulators such as BOTOX®. After a few injections, you'll notice smoother skin, giving you a natural, relaxed appearance. BOTOX®,Xeomin, Jeveau, Dysport
Reduce or prevent those pesky moderate to severe forehead lines. Your skin will look smooth and rejuvenated as the wrinkles and lines are treated. The “11s” may also be injected for optimal results. BOTOX®, Xeomin, Jeveau, Dysport
The tiny lines etched around the outer corners of the eyes are called crow’s feet, but with a few injections, those fine lines can be smoothed away, resulting in wrinkle-free skin and a young-looking apperance. BOTOX®, Xeomin, Jeveau, Dysport
Neurotoxins can be injected into the Depressor Anguli Oris (DAO) muscles, commonly known as marionette lines, in order to relax them. This results in a more youthful and cheerful appearance, reducing the look of sagging or downturned mouth corners. BOTOX®, Xeomin, Jeveau, Dysport
Neurotoxins can also be used to treat horizontal lines on the neck, often referred to as "necklace lines." The injections relax the underlying muscles, reducing the appearance of these lines and providing a more youthful neck contour. BOTOX®, Xeomin, Jeveau, Dysport
For those who are concerned about the vertical bands on the neck, neurotoxins can be a game-changer. By injecting into the platysmal bands, these products relax the neck muscles, softening the appearance of these bands and giving the neck a smoother, more youthful look. Xeomin, Jeveau, Dysport
Botox/Xeomin, Jeveau, Dysport are used to treat excessive sweating in the armpits.
Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ) is a common source of serious jaw pain. Surgery isn’t the only way to treat the condition, and board-certified Maria Abbate, FNP-C, of Beautify in Merrimack, New Hampshire, is happy to sit down with you and explain how Botox® offers a far less invasive path toward relief. BOTOX®, Xeomin, Jeuveau, Dysport
Depending on your symptoms, BOTOX® or Dysport® injections can be administered to the forehead, jaw, or temple. These injections reduce jaw muscle function, resulting in pain relief and the improvement of TMJ symptoms. BOTOX®, Xeomin, Jeveau, Dysport
This treatment involves injecting neurotoxins into the trapezius
muscles in the upper back and shoulders. The result is a more relaxed posture and a reduction in shoulder and neck tension. It's often referred to as "Barbie Tox" because it can also create the illusion of a longer, more elegant neck. BOTOX®, Xeomin, Jeveau, Dysport
Neurotoxins can be used to minimize the appearance of large pores. The treatment, often dubbed "The Pore Eraser," involves injecting a diluted form of the neurotoxin into the skin's surface to reduce oil production and thereby minimize pore size. BOTOX®, Xeomin, Jeveau, Dysport
"11s" are those little creases between your eyebrows that appear when you wrinkle them. Neurotoxin such as BOTOX® injections provide a smoother and more refreshed appearance by eliminating these wrinkles. BOTOX®, Xeomin, Jeveau, Dysport

Botox is formulated from a neurotoxin, one that’s found naturally in lakes, soil, and forests. In certain concentrations, this substance is deadly, but the volume used to create Botox is minute, carefully controlled, and perfectly safe.
When injected into muscles, Botox works by temporarily preventing those muscle fibers from going through their full range of motion. This means the skin in the treatment area won’t be pulled and tugged into lines, wrinkles, and folds.
For aesthetic applications, the medication is FDA-approved to temporarily reduce the appearance of forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet. It only takes a couple of moments to place the injections, and there’s no need for advance preparation or recovery time.
Getting Botox injections isn’t a painful experience. Some minor swelling, redness at the injection site, and minor bruising are the most common side effects, which fade quickly.
Botox injections can be combined with dermal fillers to create a non surgical face lift. This minimally invasive approach can deliver a more youthful, well-rested appearance without the risks and recovery time of plastic surgery.
Many people are surprised to learn that Botox also has numerous medical applications. In fact, the medication was approved for medical use long before it was given the green light for aesthetic treatments.
Botox injections can help lessen the severity of migraines, helping you better navigate your daily routines. It can also relieve the pain of temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), a common issue affecting the jaw. Botox is also a wonderful treatment for people with hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating.
Botox delivers results that last approximately four months. One of the most appealing things about this treatment option is the temporary nature of the effects. This means you can see if Botox delivers the results you’re seeking, then decide if you’d like to come back in for another round of treatment.
If you have additional questions or concerns about the role that Botox might play in your treatment or aesthetics care, simply schedule a face-to-face appointment at Beautify.
You can book your visit using the simple online scheduling tool, or you’re always welcome to call and speak with a friendly member of the administrative staff regarding appointment availability.
What is the purpose of dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable substances that deliver additional volume in the treatment area. They’re primarily used to replace lost collagen, the soft, smooth substance that naturally gives your skin the plumpness and rounded contouring associated with youth.
Over the years, you naturally lose much of that collagen. Without the same natural padding, your skin begins to sag and pool into lines and wrinkles. Lost facial volume is a leading cause of visible aging, and your body won’t replace that lost collagen on its own.
Dermal fillers offer the chance to temporarily smooth and fill areas of the face that suffer from collagen loss. In the hands of a highly skilled practitioner, they even offer the ability to sculpt your features to make them more aesthetically appealing.
There are many different dermal fillers to choose from, each formulated for use in specific areas of the face. Fillers have a gel-like consistency. In general, thicker fillers are better suited for use in larger areas of the face and to smooth deeper wrinkles, while thinner formulations are a good fit for fine lines and wrinkles.
Some of the uses for dermal fillers include:
Dermal fillers can also plump your lips or refine the definition of your lip lines.
Some fillers last longer than others, and your practitioner can guide you toward the options best suited to your needs. Some dermal fillers create effects that last a few months, while others can last a year or longer.
Research shows that the presence of dermal fillers within the skin prompts your body to create new natural collagen. This new tissue can further enhance volume in the treatment area and will remain in place even after your body naturally absorbs and eliminates the filler material.

Many people describe migraines as the worst headaches they’ve ever experienced. In reality, migraines aren’t true headaches but a collection of several neurological symptoms, including head pain.
Migraines can be incredibly painful and disruptive to your normal routine. Some people find themselves unable to participate in work, family, or community activities while they’re in the grips of migraine symptoms.
Some of the signs of migraines include:
Some people experience other changes either before or during migraine attacks. These can include pins and needles sensations, vision loss, or seeing shapes or flashes of light. Some are even able to predict a migraine attack due to changes in the days before head pain develops.
Migraines interrupt the flow of your days and nights. They can prevent you from taking care of your obligations when it comes to work or family.
Furthermore, migraines are stressful, and many people can focus on little else while in the grips of an attack.
There’s no need to suffer through migraine symptoms when treatments can help. If you experience frequent or severe symptoms, it may be time to take action.
Botox works by reducing the strength of muscle contractions. When injected near the pain fibers that create headache symptoms, Botox enters nearby nerve endings, where it prevents the release of chemicals that trigger pain signals. This is known as occipital nerve blocks.
This series of effects can dramatically reduce the pain that occurs during migraine attacks. The results last for 10-12 weeks. For people who have frequent migraines, coming in for routine Botox injections can decrease the severity of migraine pain.
It takes time for this approach to yield results. Most people report significant pain reduction after their second or third round of injections.
If you’d like more information, schedule a visit at Beautify to learn more about the role that Botox might play in your ongoing migraine treatment plan. You can book online or by phone in just moments.
Your body needs a wide range of micronutrients to thrive, and B12 is one of the most important. Also known as cobalamin, vitamin B12 serves a number of essential functions within your body.
Some of the benefits of vitamin B12 include:
These benefits are why vitamin B12 is one of the most frequently recommended supplements for adults of all ages.
Several medical conditions, as well as the aging process, make it difficult for your body to absorb vitamin B12 from food sources, which can leave you deficient in this essential nutrient. Your body doesn’t manufacture vitamin B12, so the only way to obtain this nutrient is by eating meat or B12-fortified grains or taking supplements.
B12 injections are also an option and offer the chance to get a powerful infusion of vitamin B12 at once. This is a wonderful option for people who have an identified vitamin B12 deficiency, but it’s also a great approach for individuals who simply want to boost their levels as part of their ongoing wellness routine.
Getting B12 injections is a simple process and one that takes very little time out of your busy day. There’s no need for any advance preparation and no downtime. When you arrive, Maria gives you time to get comfortable on the treatment table or chair before administering a quick injection.
You may feel a pinch as the needle enters your skin, but there’s no significant discomfort associated with vitamin B12 injections. These injections are administered into your muscle tissue to help your body efficiently absorb the micronutrients. You’ll rest for a few moments before heading back out to resume your normal activities.
Many people schedule B12 injections alongside other wellness or aesthetics treatments to reduce the number of trips to the office. When you’re ready to book, call the office or use the online scheduling tool to find a time that fits your busy life.
Everyone sweats, and this bodily function is necessary for good health. Sweating helps your skin regulate your body temperature but also serves as a powerful means of detoxification, eliminating heavy metals and chemicals from your body.
Some people, however, experience a condition known as hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating. These individuals sweat much more than is necessary, and that heavy sweating can make you feel self-conscious.
If you have any of the following symptoms, you might be experiencing hyperhidrosis:
Some people simply sweat more than others, but if you’re concerned about the volume of sweat your body produces, treatments can help.
If you’re bothered by excessive sweating, you should consider exploring the cause. Some cases are caused by medical conditions like diabetes, nervous system disorders, menopause, or thyroid issues.
In other cases, excessive sweating is simply the way your body is wired. Researchers believe that there’s a genetic component to hyperhidrosis, so if your close relatives experience the condition, you may have an elevated risk.
In short, if heavy sweating makes you feel uncomfortable or is distracting in work or social settings, you should consider coming in to discuss treatment options.
There are special high-powered antiperspirants that can help control heavy sweating. If these products fail to control your sweat production effectively, Botox® injections are also an option.
Botox works by disabling the chemical messenger that controls sweating. This works to “cut off” your sweat function in the treated area. It only takes a few quick injections to deliver results that can last as long as six months.
One of the best things about Botox treatment is its temporary nature. You can give this treatment a try, and if it delivers the intended results, you can simply come back in for another round of injections once your sweating begins to intensify again.
To learn more about your options for treating hyperhidrosis, schedule a visit at Beautify online or by phone at your earliest convenience
Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ) is a condition affecting the joint that joins your jawbone to your skull. Researchers understand that there may be a genetic component to the condition, so a family history of this form of jaw dysfunction might elevate your personal risk.
Traumatic injury can also cause TMJ. Any incident that puts this joint under extreme strain can lead to problems within the joint, muscles, or connective tissues. Clenching or grinding your teeth (bruxism) is a common cause of TMJ.
Being able to identify the condition can make it easier to know when to seek treatment for TMJ. Some of the indications that you might have the condition include:
The most severe symptom of TMJ is locking of the jaw after yawning or opening your mouth wide. If you experience these symptoms, consider scheduling an appointment at Beautify to explore treatment options.
In some severe cases, surgical intervention is the only way to achieve lasting improvements with TMJ. Very often, however, there are less invasive methods of managing the condition.
Botox injections are a minimally invasive treatment option that have helped many people find relief from the jaw pain that comes with TMJ. When injected into the muscles that facilitate jaw movement, Botox works to temporarily restrict muscle movement.
This reduces the tension placed on the affected joint, which in turn lessens pain. It only takes a few moments for your practitioner to administer the injections, and there’s no need for advance preparation or anesthesia.
Within a few days, the full effects of your treatment will develop. You can expect to notice less pain and a reduction in jaw clenching. Your effects will last a few months, at which time you can decide whether to return for another round of treatment.
To explore this option in greater detail, book a face-to-face consultation at Beautify. You can schedule online any time of day, or call to speak with an administrative professional during normal business hours.
